If you deleted a card (backlog item) accidentally you do not need to worry. It is possible to find and restore deleted cards from the trash bin. However, to access the trash bin function, you must switch to the Classic story mapping interface. We are currently upgrading our interface for our NextGen story map interface but there are a few functionality that is not yet available there. 

Please note: You must switch for the Classic interface to access deleted cards. You can any time switch between the "Classic" and "NextGen" interface.

How to restore a deleted card (backlog item)

1. Switch to the Classic interface
2. Select the Activity feed
3. Find the deleted card in the list
4. Click "Restore from trash"
5. Confirm your action
6. The card is restored on the map

Step-by-step guide to restore a deleted card (backlog item)

In order to access the deleted card, first switch to the Classic story map interface. 

Select the "Activity feed" panel to list your activities to find the deleted card. 

Once your activity feed is available, find the deleted card in the list. Then simply select the "Restore from trash" option. 

Confirm your action and restore the card to the story map. The card will be restored where it was deleted from.
