Overview

StoriesOnBoard AI assistant can help you with various tasks from generating user goals, steps, user stories, writing the user story itself or even advice on acceptance criteria. It can also help you to write release summary and entire release announcements as well.

We understand that everyone has different needs that must be considered when a user story is written. You can define your own template and our AI assistant will create the user story following your desired structure.

Examples of User Story AI templates

Most common user story templates:

As a user ..., I want to ..., so that ...

In the role of [role], I need [requirement] to achieve [goal].

Given ... when ... then ...

Where can you find AI template settings

Under "AI Assist" settings

  1. Open your story map

  2. Access "AI Assist" settings

  3. Select "Custom AI Functions"

  4. Click on "Write user story" AI template

  5. Update AI template

  6. Save your changes


How to setup a custom AI function

You can setup your own preferred custom template focusing on your own criteria. To do so simply add a new AI template as following:

Once you save your template the AI assistant will generate content based on the template you entered considering your story map's context.
