StoriesOnBoard AI assistant can help you with various tasks from generating user goals, steps, user stories, writing the user story itself or even advice on acceptance criteria. It can also help you to write release summary and entire release announcements as well.
We understand that everyone has different needs that needs to be considered when a user story is written. Therefore we take one step further and built in default user story templates to help your work.
The best of it, you can also define your own template and our AI assistant will create the user story following your desired structure.
Who can customize User Story AI templates
Admins and Members can update the User Story AI templates to support the team.
What are the default User Story AI templates
By default we offer three AI user story templates as following:
As a user ..., I want to ..., so that ...
In the role of [role], I need [requirement] to achieve [goal].
Given ... when ... then ...
Where can you find AI template settings
Under AI settings
Open your story map
Access AI settings
Select "Update AI templates"
In story map settings
Open your story map
Access Settings
Select "Story map settings"
Choose "Story templates & AI templates"
How to setup a custom User Story AI template
You can setup your own preferred custom template focusing on your own criteria. To do so simply open the AI template settings and enter your own structure.
Once you save your template the AI assistant will generate user stories based on the template you entered.
