User role management in StoriesOnBoard
StoriesOnBoard offers different roles to provide the necessary privileges for users and to restrict permissions.
On workspace level, we distinguish the following roles:
Subscription Admin
Admin
Member
Observer
On the story map level, the following user roles available:
Admin
Editor
Viewer

Workspace Admins can also provide and remove access to Story Maps and Feedback Management for each collaborator. To enable these functions follow these steps:
Visit the "Users" menu
Find the right user and add/remove its access to products
When you assign the user to a product a pop-up can help to set access details
Changing workspace level user roles
Workspace Admins can change the roles of collaborators on Workspace level by performing the following steps:
Visit the "Users" menu
Find the right user
Select the triangle next to the user’s role in the Role column;
Choose the collaborator's desired role from the drop-down menu
Changing story map level user roles
To change a user's role on a specific story map, visit the "Story maps" menu:
Visit the "Story maps" menu
Select "Manage story maps"
Find the right story map
Click on the three dots menu
Select "Edit"
Select the "Collaborators" tab
Find the right user
Update the user role
Enable commenting and discussion for viewer collaborators
You can also improve the collaboration with stakeholders or other team members by enabling ‘Commenting and discussion for viewer collaborators’. If this function is enabled, Viewers have the opportunity to place their comments to the cards, but they can not edit the content of the story map.
