There are many cases when users have a lot of story maps on their workspace. And this is when the collections feature is coming handy. Now you can put a stack of story maps into collections which act like folders. In this article i will explain some other useful features to help you achieve a better story map management. So let's see how this will work in practice.

Please note, that the collections feature is only available in the Standard plan.

In this example we have 9 story maps and our workspace dashboard look like this:

Before we get to the collections menu i would like to mention the option to sort the maps.

This option allows you to view story maps in alphabetic (abc), time of edit (recent) and time of creation (latest). While using the alphabetical order you also have the option to put your most used maps to the top of the list by marking them as favorites:

Now let's get to the collections tab which is located in the "Manage / Story maps" menu:

On the Collections tab, just click "Add new collection" than name it and select the desired story maps from the drop-down menu:

Here, you can select story maps one by one, or all maps that aren't in any collection yet:

After we have some collections we can manage them from their drop-down menu or search them by names:

Removing a collection is deleting only the collection and the contained story maps will remain outside the collections.
It is also possible to move a story map into a collection right after creation:

Although collections are like folders, they have only one level so it is not possible to make collection inside another collection. 

Finally, the find map feature can be used to list the story maps and collections on a separated panel which can be pinned on the screen:
